Sample COVID-19 Compliance Plan
NYC Department of Buildings Reopening Guidance – NYC Construction Activity

What do you need to do on an actively permitted job to remain compliant? -- Are you responsible or are your subs?

Message from the Executive Board:
Since July 8, 2020, the DOB has been issuing Stop Work Orders and violations to anyone who is not in compliance. From what we have heard, inspectors are bending over backwards to provide contractors with the opportunity to prove compliance. We have still been getting questions about what happens if you are not actively working on a job, who is responsible for your subs on the job.

The Committee drafted a sample package of everything you should need to be compliant. The package contains a link to the Service Notice on how to get a Stop Work Order lifted. The MPC also sent a list of questions and concerns to the DOB and has their answers available for members to reference. This information was originally sent to members on July 8, 2020.
