This presentation provides theoretical domestic hot water load estimates using ASHRAE calculations to actual internal hot water loads, providing detailed flow and temperature profiles for locations in NYC and NJ.
- An appreciation of why it has been historically hard to get DHW loads right; and why it’s important to do a better job of getting it right in the future.
- Understand how to use current technology to improve designs, equipment selection, first cost, and operational costs.
- Understand how demographic factors affect DHW loads.
- Exposure to DHW load profiles and review how this impacts DHW equipment selection.
