Course Duration: 8 Hours (1 Day)

Lesson Plan:

  • Safety Message
  • Sidewall & Direct Venting
  • High Efficiency Theory
  • Equipment Troubleshooting
  • Student Participation 

Students will have hands on training on the following working control boards:

  • White Rodger Relite Controls
  • Millivolt Systems
  • Vent Damper Troubleshooting
  • Honeywell Gas Modules
  • Johnson Controls
  • Thermocouple Testing Procedures
  • Gas Hot Air Furnaces

There is a fee of $195 for each course. Handouts and lunch will be provided. 

Each class is limited, so these classes will be handled on a first come, first served basis.

Please Note: For the best learning experience, the MPC strongly recommends that you take both the Basic I and Basic II classes. After completing the Basic l class, the Basic ll class will provide students with hands on training on live control boards.
